ISCAR has introduced a new family designated UNICHAMDRILL. This family follows the familiar CHAMDRILL but is produced without a flange (round cylindrical body). The diameter range of the UNICHAMDRILL family ranges from 7.5 to 20 mm. UNICHAMDRILL have up to 3.5 drilling depth-to-diameter ratio. The new UNICHAMDRILL uses standard CHAMDRILL drilling heads.

The flute angle of the UNICHAMDRILL differs from that of the standard CHAMDRILL in order to compensate for the lack of the conventional flange face contact support. The UNICHAMDRILLs with diameters under 10 mm have a straight flute design, like the standard CHAMDRILL.
